Morning has broken...

Morning has broken, like the first morning.
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird.
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning,
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word.

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlight from heaven.
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass.
Praise for the sweetnes of the wet garden,
Sprung in completeness where His feet pass.

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning.
Born of the one light Eden saw play.
Praise with elation, praise every morning;
God's recreation of the new day.

Morning has broken, like the first morning.
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird.
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning,
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word.

as sung by Cat Stevens

What a glorious Monday morning! This is about 15 minutes before sunrise...the ripple in the water is from a muskrat that looked me in the eye before swimming away...there were Canada geese settled in on the open water, a blue heron flew over me, and behind me a deer slowly made her way across my yard and into the neighbor's.

It finally feels like spring, and I am so grateful to be here to see it!!

p.s. This reflection is the real thing!! And so is the color. All I did was a tiny straighten.
