Migration continues...

There were hundreds of Golden Plover and Redwings on the machair this afternoon - a pretty amazing sight. I used our wee white van as a bird hide and sat, hardly moving, taking photos of them feeding. I guess they have stopped off to feed, to build up their reserves for the last leg of their journey to their breeding area further north.

The soundtrack playing in the background all natural and was Lapwings displaying and Skylark's singing.

I'm heading up to Lewis for a few days tomorrow, not sure whether i'll be able to blip, i hope so but i'm staying in an internet and mobile phone black hole (Carloway), i'll try anyway, i'm getting quite into the daily routine of blipping!
