Spaceship?

This morning Pete and I attended a very blustery meeting in the Great fen, to discuss some forthcoming survey work. On our drive out I spotted several lenticular clouds towards the western horizon - I thought this one looked very like a spaceship!

In the afternoon we had a Teams meeting regarding a potential bid for more survey work, aimed at supporting our local Nature Recovery Network. 

This is always a pressured time of year, as we desperately try and finish writing up last year's surveys and develop proposals for the forthcoming season, not really knowing how much to take on, as a proportion probably won't come to fruition!
