COFFEE TIME

A trip over to Morecambe to see Mum. Really dreich weather and loads of sprY on the M6. Still we got there with no problems. Mum doing well. Brother and his partner popped in so it was good to catch up with them too.

We left about 2 and drove up the A6 and along Morecambe Promenade but didn't stop too grey and wet. As we went under the bridge not far outside of Carnforth, where you turn off to go Greenlands Farm, some numpty overtook two cars behind us and the car in front of us within the hatched area and forced those coming in the opposite direction to swerve into the kerb!!! No idea why as we were doing in excess of 50 mph anyway, scary. We witnessed another one a bit later overtaking on a blind bend! Must be the awful weather adding what remains of their brains. Traffic won't heavy nor going slow either!!!!!

So we decided to pull into Levens Kitchens for coffee and cake to calm us down. That slice of cake I'd way to big for me so have bought half home for hubby to finish off tomorrow.
