Blown About

Storm Dudley seems to be biding its time coming to this neck of the woods today. Although the wind was roaring in the trees early this morning, it has abated to almost nothing but we do now have heavy rain. There is no way I am putting a foot outside so I am holed up with a book - the ironing board is in the background.

I have solved the problem of central heating and rising energy prices. My Dry Robe has been pressed into action to keep me warm in the hours when the Central Heating is off. Certainly it is a bit bulky for housework , but when was the latter an overriding option.

I liked the tracery of this bit of hydrangea petiolaris which was blown off the wall and has by default became today’s blip.
