Mizen Bridge

Undeterred by the forecast of another damp grey day, we dropped Rachel into work and headed out to the Mizen peninsula. First stop was Ballyrisode Beach, the tide was out and we played a bit of catch on the firm white sand, then off to Barley Cove to take in the wild seas, the tide was out exposing a very large stretch of golden sand, this beach is accessed by a pontoon, very bouncy to walk on! Then O'Sullivans Bar in Crookhaven, famous for their crab open sandwich, irresistible for me and very good it was too!
Next the Mizen experience, perfect for a drizzly afternoon, Earthdreamer was blipping his very dramatic blip of the day standing on the bridge spanning a treacherous bit of water.
