From Graystones

After the storms of the past couple of days, this morning was very overcast, we had a little snow on the tops, and it was mightily cold. After lunch, the sky quickly cleared, so we parked by Spout Force waterfall along the Whinlatter pass, and walked up Graystones - not a massive walk, but another Wainwright, and some fabulous views. Since we last walked it in 2016, the forestry commission has cut down a lot of trees and opened up the views on the way up. I thought the view looking back towards Ladyside Pike and Hopegill Head looked quite "Alpine"
