This pair have been taken under the 'wing' of the local community.

They're a breeding pair and have 3 eggs on their nest. The nest itself is only about 2 foot from the edge of the creek and very accessible to humans! Some friendly humans have taken it upon themselves to ensure that the three eggs hatch without interference and so 'patrol' the area. Other humans have taken it upon themselves to give the pair a helping hand and feed them whenever possible.

Nice to see people making a concerted effort and helping wildlife to thrive....although people please hold back a bit on the bread feeding :-)
