Pleiades again...

Not the best of days... My trusty Canon EOS 1DS III failed with error 99. The mirror is stuck. Now I have to decide whether or not to have it repaired. IMHO this is one of the best cameras Canon built, maybe not all the whistles and flutes of the more modern models but the images are superb.

On a better note I had ordered a used Canon 650D to use solely for astrophotography and that arrived today. As luck would have it the sky was clear so I was able to give it a try out.
