** That's the EXPO strapline. I love the invite! :)

Today, we took Diane and her husband Stevie to EXPO 2020. It was their first time. They were given a ticket each by Emirates on their recent holiday.

We got into the site at exactly 10 AM (thanks to G's orange pass, otherwise we might still be in the queue to get in!!). We went back to a few pavilions we'd already seen before but did manage to do two new ones. We even got to meet a native from The Marshall Islands and Samoa!

We started at Terra (the Sustainability Pavilion) and enjoyed going through the Forest again. Today, we went under the sea as well. We then got into the UAE pavilion (again, thanks to G's orange pass). Tanzania was the country being honoured today, and we happened to be in the right place at the right time when the delegation came through in the UAE pavilion. :))

We did quick visits to The Marshall Islands, Samoa, Saint Lucia, Kyrgystan and the USA before heading back to the car. It was HOT. D&S could have stayed on, but with the heat and the crowds (it was insane), they opted to come back with us! And that was visit No. 10 for us!

And on the ATP500 front, our Czech guy, Vesely got beaten by Rublev in two sets. Not a very long final for anyone who had paid top dollar to watch it, but I have to say, for all that is happening in the world, Rublev was a really gracious winner and the crowd stuck with the sport.
