Amethyst

Duolingo informed me that I’d been promoted to its Amethyst League. Hurrah! Various lessons on infinitives have proven to be time well spent. The leagues and promotions are essentially meaningless, yet keep Duolingo users in a healthy state of competition with each other.

I couldn’t resist this restaurant when I saw it, with food from the motherland. I had a nice chicken dish with its roots in Zambézia Province in Mozambique’s north-central region.
