My birthday

This is a water strider.  They move so fast I feel lucky to have focused (some what) on this one.  When the waters are chaotic, its good to remember to stride and not sink.  The Strider is a kayak" totem" for me.
My friend is visiting from VT and we went hiking in the Ocala National Forest yesterday.  Lots of wildflowers and flowering shrubs are in bloom.  Just a perfect birthday, striding into a new year.
