Spring by a thread

April

budding blush and bloom
suspended
tenuous temperatures teetering
straddling
the seesaw of spring

Two glorious days of spring tipping back to the taste of late winter. Dismally dark and rainy but with the songs of busy mate seeking birds giving hope for the next upswing to warmth and first broods. Suddenly, along side the tired winter brown there's green and bright color on a cold spring morning and a little drizzle can't dampen that.

For the Record,
This day came in dark and damp with a cold drizzle. T had to go in extra early and it was a struggle to get up. Not much improvement 4 hours later.
