Exterior

An over the hedge stadium exterior at Horsfall Stadium where Bradford (Park Avenue) eked out a narrow win over neighbours Farsley Celtic. 

Bradford Ukrainian Club were in attendance collecting for a war relief fund and displays of support were in evidence around the ground (although some may have been more thoughtfully placed - extra).

Football may seem a peculiar lens through which to interrogate war, but connections are everywhere and serve as an oppurtunity to engage, inform and learn. My own team, Everton, is part sponsored by and has strong associations with Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov, yet also has a Ukrainian international player in the squad. The sponsorship has been suspended but we’ve yet to see the disinvestment that has started to happen at the more transparently oligarch owned Chelsea.
