Tropical Adventures

It was a good morning: probate granted on my late mum's estate, I sold her mobility scooter and I got a pension pay rise!

To celebrate, I headed over to RHS Wisley for a mooch around the gardens before spending my half of the proceeds from the scooter on some hellebores - plants I've always wanted but had shied away from because of their cost. They will make a lovely memory of Mum.

While I wandered around I kept my eye open for subjects for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge, and settled on this composite of topical leaves in the glasshouse. I also found some gorgeous examples of an unusual amaryllis and an orchid (extra).
