The center of our village. !!!

Today I took 2 pictures of half of our center.
On the top photo you can see a part of the market square "a market is held there on Saturdays, which is especially known among our German neighbors". During the week it is a normal parking lot. You see the old church on the Kerkberg. It really is a small church. It can accommodate up to 50 people. It mainly hosts weddings and baptisms.
On the right is the rectory of our Pastor and behind it you can see a part of the sheltered housing of the nursing home for the elderly. On the far right are apartments and "that is no longer in the picture" a drugstore and the Jumbo a supermarket.
In the bottom photo you can see some shops. There is a bakery, a clothing store and a butcher's shop. If you zoom in you see a house under construction. There they are rebuilding the oldest house in Eygelshoven.
When you cross the street to the right you look at the buildings behind the market square in the top photo.
