THIS BUD'S FOR YOU!

It's Tiny Tuesday and what we have here is a terminal bud on my lilac bush. It'll be a while...2-3 months...before any blossoms appear here.  And it's a pretty small bud that gives rise to such a large blossom and its leaves.

It's a pretty windy day and I had to hold the twig steady in order to get a proper focus. You can judge bud size from my fingers.
