Black headed gull.

Shown in its winter plumage, unless it had not bothered with the hair colouring. 
If I was the right age to qualify, I should have sung 'Wasting my young years', as I've not done anything exciting or productive today. 
This is a lone gull skimming along the morning's high tide. They seem to gather in smaller groups than the larger and more plentiful herring gulls.
