This flower is almost as big as your head!. Spotted near a bus stop in Brisbane. It is, I think, a type of Bromeliad.

Life's a bit hectic, hence I've had little time to comment here on Blip - apologies. Getting a house and a car up and running again after they've been asleep and unused for 22 months is exhausting and a big task. I'm still running the UK business too, while I'm here in Aus which has thrown up some technical glitches. I am confident all will smooth out - soon I hope.

Tonight I'll see my dear son and his partner after 22 months apart.
