61 years

I was over in Newton Mearns today, seeing my brother, and it was a bit weird. This was because it was the first time in 61 years that the house had a For Sale sign. 

Mum and dad had watched the house being built 61 years ago, but the house is now being sold as part of the winding up of mum’s estate.

It’s been a tough process, going through so many years of stuff and memories. It turns out that mum and dad did not throw much out!

Anyway, the For Sale sign went up this week, and the house sold immediately (quite a few offers) which is good. Apparently, it’s a sellers market currently.
