"Malcolm and Molly sittin' in a tree..."

"...K. I. S. S. I. N. G."  An old diddy we use to sing as children.  "First comes love, then comes marriage, then here comes Molly with a baby carriage."   Mourning Doves mate for life and you can sometimes see them cuddling in the trees.  They are also called Turtle Doves.  If a mate dies, they will mourn the loss with heartbreaking cries.  In fact, the whole flock will join in with a common mourning for the lost one.  They are such beautiful birds and I love seeing them in Auntie's Tree all puffed up on a cold morning.  It will be warming up this week so Malcolm and Molly, and all the creatures great and small, will have an easier time of it.
