An Unexpected Arrival

When we spotted our neighbours' hutch for sale we begged Mum to get some guinea-pigs, as they are my favourite animal. Mum actually considered it, and as we went of to a garden centre (mainly to get some plants for Grandad, who arrived yesterday) we thought we'd look at guinea-pigs.

Unfortunately, there were no animals at the garden centre, but Mum said that we could actually have them! We were all delighted as we'd already decided on names.

We took a quick trip to Pets at Home only to discover that due to building and developing, the animals had all been moved.

But we wouldn't give up...

We searched the internet and found two guinea-pigs, and they were perfect! Mum called them up and we didn't expect to get them for a while, we just wanted to see if they were still available. When we found out they were, we were thrilled. And Mum decided that we could get them this evening!

We bought our neighbours' hutch for a great deal of £10 (as we were good friends) including a run! There was a lot of hassle fitting it into our shed but eventually it was ready for our new friends!

When they arrived they were extremely nervous and left a few things around the house, but once they got into their hutch they were fine.

The one on the right is Tufty (nicknamed Puggy) and the one on the left is Doblina (nicknamed Dobby). They are both females.

Had a yummy fish and chips takeaway for tea! Mmmm.

Please check out my back-blip for yesterday!
