Sandside Quarry

It occurred to me that I did not need to miss my regular Tuesday walk  because one of the group has Covid like me.  She led me on a circuit of Sandside Quarry and we did our 10,000 steps but I must admit my legs felt like jelly at the end. 
Suffering a little Covid brain fog I carelessly left my phone on the top of my car, where it then  survived a ten mile  journey home,  wedged against a roof bar. I still can't believe how lucky I am not to have lost it 

Back to the quarry- if you click the map icon and select satellite instead of map you get an interesting aerial view of the quarry  and can see what a dent its made into the woods. (This may not work in mobile versions)
