A patchwork day

Cake deliveries, blood tests and meeting meant the day was a patchwork of activities with no time to get to the plot to do any serious work, so today's picture is a patchwork of plant progress at home.
The tomatoes, chillies and aubergines are doing well in the spare bedroom and the cosmos and calla lilies have both broken the surface in their respective pots. I have yet another bunch of daffs from the  picking border and the orchid that was repotted while flowering is still flowering.
The only problem is with my Abyssinian banana palm(not in the picture), which appears to have a bad case of aphids and needs some serious tlc.
