Clematis

I started the day by moving quite a few primroses away from the area where the workman will be digging out in the morning to move the rotten log rolls. The primroses have multiplied quite prolifically, I only bought one plant. I must have lost the cowslip that was there.
It would appear that part of the garden is the site of the ditch for the original house which sits behind us, hence the excess wetness. I had to get help to move the clematis.
On the theme of clematis, this is quick shot from a bouquet sent by our eldest son from a bouquet for Mother’s Day. I had a FaceTime call from both our sons. Our two eldest grandsons had Covid a couple of weeks ago at their respective Universities, caught independently and both our youngest son and youngest grandson are currently on the tail end in Canada, caught from one of grandson’s skiing friends although our son is not sure how he caught it so quickly. He said when you do the lateral flow test, you don’t have to wait 15 minutes, you get the second line very quickly. His wife wasn’t too happy as she is holding a course next weekend.
Luckily, they have two homes though so it’s easy to isolate.
