...The Woodpecker. A new visitor to the garden this month.

I've seen him a couple of times but never had the camera at the ready. Well this time my luck was in. Camera and big lens sitting at my side as he flew onto the feeder.

It's quite surprising how big these birds are compared to the usual visitors to the bird feeder.
