Walking on water!

Today was my final day of freedom before going back to work :-(

Sadly even though it wasn't raining it was cooler than yesterday and there was a nasty gusty wind which not only blew my hair all over my face, but blew anything I was about to photograph all over the place too.
In light of this I decided to take a trip to the local nature reserve and literally hide in the bird hides!!
This picture shows a coot 'running' on water at it took flight!
I love his huge feet and the determined look on his face.
