This is the first time I've seen a Jackdaw so close to the house ...... they are usually off in the distance on the roof tops ..... do hope you like it :-)

Got a surprise phone call from eldest son this afternoon. He was calling from Cyprus on route to Afghanistan. He is about to start a 6 month tour over there. Thankfully ..... although nowhere over there is really safe ....... he will be stationed at Camp Bastion & not at one of the outlying bases. Stay safe.
