At Brew By Numbers

A sunny Good Friday bank holiday which felt like summer. Tee-shirt weather in Greenwich. Helen and I walked around the north Greenwich peninsula, stopping for a drink at Brew By Numbers by Morden Wharf (where we could also sit on the benches outside - in stark contrast to the chilly evening of our previous visit). The pink beer was a raspberry 'gose' which, mixed with lemonade, made a good shandy for Helen. I had a Citra pale ale - very good.

For a change, I didn't listen to Crewe's latest game (at Gresty Road against Wimbledon) - even though it was the first under new manager Alex Morris - as last weekend's relegation had been depressing enough. Despite going 0-1 down, Crewe regained the lead and went on to score a third in added time to win 3-1. Maybe things aren't so bad after all, and maybe League Two will be enjoyable next season.....
