Net-casting spider

When I saw this creature this morning it looked like a four-legged stick insect. As we all know, insects have six legs and you can see in the extra, which shows its underside, a couple of short appendages. Four plus two make six! But as the day progressed those 'four legs' began to separate out into eight. My bug ID app identified it as a net-casting spider.

In my early days of blipping I posted one of these complete with net, of the prettiest pale blue colour, held between two of its legs, ready to throw at unsuspecting prey. Today's one has not yet made its net and unless it gets a move one, it won't snag a meal. I'll check tomorrow.

Thanks for hosting Sheol.
