swans are not ducks

Sam the dog thinks that ducks are put on this earth purely for his pleasure. What he does is....crash into the water, they fly/swim away, he swims after them, realises he can neither fly nor swim all that far, comes back to land, chokes a bit, then repeats again and again and again. We have thought, for a long time, that there is something odd about our dog but he fits in so well with us....
Anyway, today he tried the trick on the swans. Crash into water.....swans move threateningly towards him, he cautiously moves towards them....swans hiss, move closer and raise their wings in a "try it matey" kind of way. Dog bricks it and runs.....and then starts over and repeats ad infinitum (nearly, we went home after a while).

There may be a blip gap of a few days to be filled once I'm home again. I'm going on a cow hunt in the Western Balkans and may not always have time/internet connection. Needless to say, there will be back blips. Meanwhile, be good, take adequate precautions and keep on blipping in the free world.
