DOORS IN OSLO # 43

The entrance to Museum of Culture History.

Originally the architect Karl August Henriksen designed the building
in a Romanesque Revival style,
but he died,
so
the architect  Henry Bull made a new art nouveau design.

The  construction was begun in 1898 and completed in 1903.

All the doors are adorned with beautiful national embossed art nouveau forms.
