In the sun

What a gorgeous day ! Blue skies and warm sunshine. There were hundreds of tourists taking advantage of the nice weather on the Square today and this lady certainly seemed to be enjoying the sunshine !

London has been gearing up for Baroness Thatcher's funeral tomorrow and Whitehall is already lined with barriers, police vans, more armed police than usual, and TV crews practising camera angles. There are outside broadcast cameras positioned on top of several buildings, and the National Gallery, as well as in the middle of the roundabout at Trafalgar Square. It's going to be manic tomorrow and I anticipate having to fight my way into the office in the morning. Noone could say it was boring working here...
