Easterly

After the requisite coffee, crossword, Wordle and stuff it was off on the bike, into a fierce easterly until I turned at Tantallon and enjoyed nine miles of tailwind before stopping at Seton Sands after pretty much bang on 50 miles of riding.

My partner arrived in the car, the bike got stuck in the boot, and we went to Newhailes estate at Musselburgh for a wander and some coffee and cake.

Away again tomorrow for three nights down in The Borders, part 2 of our Easter Holiday if you like after Dundee earlier in the week. Opportunities - I like to make the most of them!
