The inscription on the remains of the Sinclair Fountain (originally sited in the middle of the junction at the west end of Princes Street), now to be found on the Leith walkway at Steadfastgate...........
Shame it's no longer a working fountain, handy for the odd passing horse.
By the way, I am always thankful when I drink!
