Sleepy-byes

Poor Freyja has hurt her paw again this evening. She was fine earlier today and has been out scampering and probably getting into all sorts of bother. When she came in from the garden this evening she was visibly limping on three legs with one held high off the ground. She’s done this before and been as right as rain after a few days.

We had our neighbours over for dinner this evening and she gave a wonderful show of “I’m hurt, please pamper me”…, so all four adults stopped conversation mid flow and oohed and aarrd over her until she took herself off to our bed where she has wedged herself between David’s legs for the night.

Oh yes, that’s her brother, Aethelstan curled up beside her.
