Poet

The poet's daffodils are blooming now, and they are just lovely. I don't do a thing to them. I just planted them one time, and now they come up every year. Do you see the bands of color in the middle? There is green, then yellow, then red.

All of this, lined by pale, delicate petals - the light shines through them, like a special blessing. They are a small daffodil, almost fragile looking. Like white prayer flags, dusted with touches of green and yellow and red, fluttering in the breeze.
