Yellow Skunk Cabbage

I love this flower which grows in profusion in my friend's garden in a boggy area. I had no idea until now what it was called, thanks to an internet search and what an unusual name it has too!

Well its been blowing a hoolie today and rained too, a far cry from the weather last week. Its also quite cold so going to have to light a fire in a minute. Edit: am gutted forgot, can't light fire until I get some glue for the rope seal which has fallen off :(:(

Just heard on the local news about another fatality in the Lakes, third one in the Langdales this year, such a shame!
