on the wind

Its wild out there, a gale blowing.
I risked a quick dash to the coast this evening. This is Tralisbean, a normally sheltered little cove where the sea hardly moves. Today it was seething and surging, massive waves pushing in.
I drove around to a less sheltered beach but couldnt even get out of the car, the wind was so strong.
It was nice to get home to a cosy house.
