Tawny Owl

Seem to have got a bit of a bird thing going at the moment. I had a visit to Meresands Wood nature reserve to assess a scheme for CCTV over looking the main lake to bring live pictues into the visitor centre. As it was such a lovely morning I arrived early for a walk round. Got great views of the Kingfishers but an even better shot of this Tawny Owl chick doing it's best to hide against the Silver Birch. Not a bad start to the week.
