Spring Starflowers

I thought I was going to blip the pussy willow flowers on the tree next door, as I have been meaning to fever since its blooms started to open. I did try, endlessly it seemed, with the added bonuses of bumble bees, bees, flies and birds joining the scene at various times. But I'm not happy with the results; they are not sharp enough images nor are they balanced as I would like.

Instead here are some Spring Starflowers (Ipheion uniflorum) which have popped up in a container that I must have planted several years ago. They are pretty and very cheery, so I will present them here to celebrate the gorgeous sunshine and blue skies we have had today.
