I've forgotten anything specific about this day. The central heating controller is now mounted on the truncated wall in the kitchen but is not yet connected. Some furniture had to be moved around to achieve this. The floorboards by the door in Edgar's room now creak a little bit more than previously after being taken up and replaced, making it more difficult to sneak out without him noticing if he's woken up during the night.
