God Save The Queen

On This Day In History
1977: The B.B.C. bans God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols

Quote Of The Day
"To me, the lyrics themselves were a fun thing. It was expressing my point of view on the Monarchy in general and on anybody that begs your obligation with no thought. That's unacceptable to me. You have to earn the right to call on my friendship and loyalty. And you have to have value proven points in order for me to support you."
(John Lydon)

Unfortunately, John Lydon lost my respect when he threw in his lot with Donald Trump and Nigel Farage. I wonder what value proven points they have?

24 years on to this day, there is still only one queen of my heart.
