Calm after the rain!

We met up with our son and family again today which was lovely and we are staying with them just for tonight whilst they are in Cornwall for half term. A walk to the beach and a cream tea followed later by a picnic lunch was planned. We had quite a long walk and the heavens opened! My waterproof was not fully waterproof! It eased off as we reached the cafe for a cream tea! We took a different route back along the cliff path, the rain had stopped and the walk was stunning. This scene was so tranquil….I love it. This is at Portscathoe. We managed a picnic along the cliffs then hubby and the grandchildren had a swim. A really wonderful day even if rather wet and…..15,600 steps walked which was over 5.5 miles! Phew!
