Watts Chapel

I love visiting Watt's Chapel in Compton when I have a free afternoon. The British Arts Nouveau terracotta relief decoration, designed by Mary Watts, wife of the renown Victorian artist G. F. Watts, and executed by the villagers of Compton,  always blows me away in its opulence.

Today's blip was created from 3 vertical images merged in photoshop to show the altar area and two of the "tree of life" panels. The geometric shape of the chapel, with the flowing forms of the Arts and Crafts movement influences seemed to fit with today's Wide Wednesday challenge of  geometrics.
