Weather

This is pretty much the view from the kitchen window. Not too shabby ;-)

We were grateful that the croft has very thick walls and a solid roof as we'd been welcomed to the island by some serious wind and rain.

Hardly let up all day and that, combined with the tiring trip yesterday meant we spent most of today, reading, relaxing, pottering, trying and failing to get hot water and then Sarah and I went for an explore to the loch.

It was too windy to talk by the loch, but great to be in the fresh air. I managed to fall on the way back after getting tangled in sharp wire but thankfully the jeans took the damage, not my leg.

It dried up enough for me to take Fatty and the filters out into the garden for a little while, but far too windy for anything other than quick snaps.
