Rub-a -dub -dub

A trip on the train with mrsToad and Doffy to Colwyn Bay as there was a 1940's festival being held there. We enjoyed a walk down the street and a look into a few shops which were being used as mini museums. This one was housing home front exhibits. They had a display of authentic clothing on one of the tables, unfortunately one of the other stall holders spilt her cup of coffee over a few of the items. Luckily this washer woman was on hand to wash out the stains before they set.
This afternoon, on our return, mum has been practising doing victory rolls in my hair. So I am typing this looking the part :-)
