Summer wheat

One of the most typical June summer sights are the wide expanses of wheat fields along the West Sussex coast. Today was particularly wet with changeable skies and the wheat at least didn’t look too soggy or chilly. It looks so magnificent in the sunshine but none today.

Thank you Steveng for hosting Wide Wednesday summer/winter. It felt a bit like both here today!
