Autumn days ..

A lovely sunny autumn day with leaves in every nook and cranny!

Today Johannes, our garden help, cleared the gutters of leaves.
We may be expecting rain later on.
If the water cannot reach the down pipes quick enough, it spills onto a stoep where it causes slippery conditions, amongst others.
The dogs' bedding also gets wet and this leads to pure misery!
But usually we are quick enough to rescue.

Looking at the calender, I guess it is really winter, but we are still in short sleeves and no winter sheets out, yet.

We had strong bergwind conditions yesterday and this morning, and this hot air usually precedes a cold spell .....
