Sunbathing

It's been very warm today and one of us was enjoying a spot of sunbathing.  I spent the morning preparing the little garden for deck and slab washing tomorrow - lovely friend Liz is coming round with her pressure washer.  After an early lunch Mr HB & I set off with S & H to the lovely VUE cinema in Newcastle (under-Lyme) to watch Top Gun.  I was sceptical about enjoying it but turned out I loved it and hasn't the delicious Tom Cruise weathered so very well! The two pilots with us picked holes in the actual flying routines, but H & I don't know any better so just enjoyed the excitement.

H&S stayed for supper and my pre-prepared fish pie and strawberry/ raspberry/blueberry Pavlova were approved of.
